What makes a good (or great) boss in a video game, specifically an RPG?
Conversely, what makes a boss battle obnoxious to play?

i've been sittnig here with the "post new message" form open for the past ten minutes, speechless, trying to find the words to convey just how bad of an opinion this is, and how bad of a person you must be for holding it, but i just cant. the finest poet from any culture or time could sit here until the carbon in his body decayed into something else and never find the words to express just how gay you are. you're like every gay porn ever compacted into one superdense superfaggot. every opinion you ever hold is wrong, every idea you ever have should never be expressed, every ounce of effort you go through to think the thoughts you think is a waste, i'd say you should be shot into space, but you arent even worthy of the resources that would take. i'd say you should die, but you dont even deserve to be buried in the ground you walk on. the only thing i can think of that would make me happy is to lock you in a room with all the anime and terrible movies and terrible games you'd ever like, and just leave you there, forever, sealed by magic and technology, sealing away the ultimate gay, the faggiest fag there ever was. after this, the supreme court would unanimously pass a new amendment that this room should never be opened.... youre so gay it defies time, language, and even human concept... you're gay in every dimension, every space-time event after your birth has experienced noticeably higher levels of Gay

I agree. Three The Hard Way HAS TO BE LONGER and if it doesn't count as being made by one person, then hardly any RPG Maker game does, which I think is BS.except Sunset over Imdahl.
Although, on second thought, didn't he say it was the largest "console" game made by one person? Because that might be true...

It's not a question of finishing it, if you saw/read the post...it's a question of should I release the incomplete blob of stuff or not, in the spirit of Release Something? It's not going to be complete, it's not even going to be a demo. It's just going to be a lot of work that never culminated in anything.

The EXACT same issues happened on Windows XP when it was first released, maybe some of you don't know that or just didn't have computers then. It also isn't Vista's fault that most of your programs aren't working. Vista as an OS is pretty decent. And you can change the annoying features of vista in about 3 clicks.
I'm not pro Vista or anything(I still use XP), but the hate around the OS is ridiculous. As long as you've got a decent computer, it's fine.
Microsoft isn't scrapping Vista, either. This is just going to be(like Shadowtext said) the Windows 98 of it. I think Vista's life span is going to last for a long time, considering XP is still around.
Yo, I've had one POS computer or another since they were running Windows 95, at least, first off. And secondly...I hated XP when it game out too. I'll admit it, I just hate change.
